For over 100 years, the aerospace industry has connected, explored, and inspired the world. Collaboration has always been the cornerstone of the aviation industry’s success. Since 2020 crisis, the aerospace industry is in serious trouble, but it can transform and enjoy a successful, low-carbon future. GAIN is the leader in Switzerland to that end. Our focus is to enhance business and innovation synergies between aerospace companies with the ultimate goal to contribute to a safer and a more sustainable world. WORKING COMMITTEES

GAIN is the aerospace companies’ organization here in Switzerland.

It’s also a unique platform bringing together SMEs, startups, research institutions and associations.

GAIN was founded in 2017 by four Geneva-based aerospace companies and is currently composed of over 15 Western Switzerland SMEs. Together, they employ over 6,300 people with a market capitalization of CHF 1.9 billion. They design, manufacture and deliver innovative Swiss aerospace solutions to major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) around a 3 pillar based approach : Electronic, Metal, and Services.

Its purpose is to create business and innovation synergies among its members, with the ultimate goal to contribute to a safer and a more sustainable world.

The organization supports its members by enhancing their competitiveness and providing needs-based services, such as participating in the offset transactions under Air2030 Program (Business Committee), sharing quality-oriented training courses and leading joint projects (Quality Committee), reducing our Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Decarbonization Committee), and developing the aerospace applications of tomorrow with research institutions by jointly undertaking R&D programs (Innovation Committee).

Since 2019, the organisation has been chaired by Andy RAS-WORK, CEO of Niklaus LNI.
